Invisalign Teen was designed to address the unique needs of young adults as a clear alternative to braces. Invisalign Teen can correct many orthodontic problems such as straighten crooked or buck teeth and close gaps between teeth. The treatment aligners accommodate for the continuing and natural eruption of young-adult permanent teeth. If an Invisalign teen aligner is accidentally lost, we can provide you replacement aligners.
Invisalign aligners are worn full time except for eating and cleaning (around 22 hours each day). They are changed every ten days for the next set of aligners. Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth, and your teeth only. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position prescribed by our specialist orthodontist. Invisalign Teen also includes Compliance Indicators, which fade from blue to clear to provide a visual gauge of approximate wear time!
A virtual 3D treatment plan will show the series of movements your teeth will go through over the course of the treatment. This allows you to see the end result you can expect before starting treatment in an amazing video clip of your smile.
